Recent Projects
Windows 11 Upgrades
Due Microsoft’s support for Windows 10 ending on 14th October 2025, I’ve recently replaced around 80 PC’s spread over 4 locations for a car dealership that I work with.
As part of the upgrade, new PC’s are joined to their Microsoft Entra ID domain for seamless integration with Microsoft 365 apps with user data migrated to OneDrive.
I’ve also deployed strict Conditional Access Policies to only allow user logins from specific locations and device types to minimise the company’s vulnerability to malicious sign-in attempts.
Exploding Phone Battery
Whilst setting up a new laptop for a client, he asked me to check his mobile phone as the case had lost it’s shape, making it difficult to press the side buttons.
After removing the case, we discovered that the battery had expanded, due to a faulty battery cell. I advised not to charge the phone any further and arranged to replace the battery, cleaning off the old adhesive and resealing. Happy customer, the phone is now safe and as good as new!
